They’re all the same…(college visits and the tedium of it all).
We visit some of the best schools in the country for my gifted, ND, anxious kiddo and I love her because I’m like, “Whaddya think?” and she shrugs, “They’re all the same.”
She’s right.
They are.
Lovely and the same.
She gets that it doesn’t matter…not really.
Sure, you can purchase your alumni group and that’s nice…but the opportunities you make and take in college is where the growth happens.
The sticker on the car is for bragging rights (usually for the parents who don’t go there), and doesn’t mean much.
It’s okay to be proud of your kid, that’s human.
But mind your mind, parents.
