For the AMA - thoughts on how to respond in the moment when your partner yells at our little kiddos? My partner frequently raises his voice with our little guys during periods of day like bedtime and I'm always confused on the best way to show up. My brain wants to say things like "don't yell, that doesn't actually help the situation" but then I realize that when I do that, he doesn't feel supported or seen in his frustration. He knows plenty well out of the moment that its not the best way to show up with our kiddos; however, in the moment, I'm caught between wanting to be supportive to him and also wanting to protect my kids from what feels like disproportionate adult emotional disregulation over small things like not getting into bed on time.
